OP should change the title. When you say "Tablet PC", it implies that the tablet runs Windows. This is an Android tablet not a "Tablet PC".

I think the hardware is great for the budget, but I think the firmware support from this brand might be spotty at best. Intel SoC for tablets/phones have terrible battery life atm.

The Windows version that run on ARM is Windows RT, not Windows 8. It looks the same but the name if different. Also it need a specific hardware configuration, so it's essentially missing driver or other support for tablets that are not build for Windows RT.

ARM is not ARM is not ARM.
Using an ARM processor does not say anything about what ARM instruction set, etc. that are implemented. So saying it has an ARM inside does not mean anything.

I got an Acer Iconia Tab (A500), it's running Android and using an ARM, but there are a lot of apps that is NOT compatible.

Exactly. I'll take even a slow Nook Color with solid dev support behind it over these cheap no-name brand tabs. When you end up with a broken app or some incompatibility or inability to stay connected to certain routers...etc...you can count on dev support, assistance on XDA in fixing your problem, etc. Or if you go with a Tab 2 or a Nexus, you can count on the vendor to fix issues. Support is non-existent for these types of cheap gadgets.

Hardware is only one part of the mix. Add in well-developed firmware/O.S., accessories, etc...you're better off with something more popular.

How about a review - how long have you had it? Any issues? Wifi stability? Overheating?

I have a single core 512M tab with mali gpu that is nice but it is a little slow bringing up webpages. Everything else works fine. Wondering how much of a boost this unit may offer.

Can you? Driver issues make me skeptical that this would be so simple.
