IMHO I'm staying from away these china no name brand tablets because:
1- If anything happens you pay shipping back to china 2- questionable hardware quality and support from manufacture 3- lower community support. 4- rarely come out of the box and work right like it should and you have to tinker with it and do this/that just to get it right. Personallhy I would raither jut spend alittle extra for piece of mind of support and warranty from vendor/manufacture and have it work like it should. my time is worth more $ than looking up roms and fixes etc... On a personal note I order one of those Ainol crystal 7 from Geekbuying a few months ago. the touchscreen was defective. it took a month to a RMA (mainly because it takes them a week to respond to a email. and inital 3 weeks they tell me to do this, do that to fix it). - Long story short it took a month till they received it (and thats only becasue I asked). - They said they will refund it but they never did (dispite numerous emailed) I had to go through Paypal to file a FRAUD CASE to get a refund and the guy just paypal me the money so I get charged the paypal fee.. (on top of the $27 postage I aleready spent on shipping back to them) - Geekbuying have alot of complaints look at their facebook page. =================================
My days as a sales person @ bestbuy Customer: This stupid phone I bought last week won't work right Me: So it's the phone thats stupid and not you right? Customer: I'm looking for an easy way to access my media files with my laptop when I'm in the yard. Me: Sports Authority is having a sale on walking shoes. |

I was looking forward to it as I had custom roms ready to load for the thing. I'm still going to get a china tab as I like testing out new and different stuff. I shipped it out on April 10 and was delivered on the 24th. I've opened a Paypal dispute for a refund for Item being internel/externally being defective within the 45 day period to cover my ass regardless of the merchants promises and talk. They denied that initial refund request stating that I already had an RMA case open with them and that they havent received the device yet even though tracking says delivered. They say the item is "Delivered" to the post office in the area but still is in transit to their warehouse/office and to give them 2-4 days for an update. (I hear these overseas retailers like to play the stalling game, I don't know for sure, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt) I'm staying on top of focal price for the refund and if I they pull another excuse I'm going to escalte my dispute to paypal detailing all the info I have from all the tracking websites as well as the RMA correspondence from them all in PDF form should paypal need it. I'm either going to get a Teclast P88 from here http://www.aliexpress.com/item/20...53083.html as they ship DHL and the user comments for this tablet looks very good over at slatedroid or a used ASUS TF101. I may do the ASUS since I know I'll be able to get accessories and cases for it. In terms of accessories they are little to none when it comes to these china tabs.

Man that's too bad. So you think there was some internals problems or a bad battery and a custom rom would not have fixed the power issue? Did you leave it on the charger for a few hours before using it, maybe the battery gauge was not initialized because it was so new and maybe not charged.

Just giving peeps a heads up when dealing with these overseas merchants. I recommend using Paypal, documenting everything regarding the sale, all correspondence with the merchant, damage/defect items with pictures/videos and staying on top of them when you request a refund as they will come with excuses to stall you. If you're without the item, no matter the circumstance or what the merchant may say, be sure to submit your dispute to paypal within the 45 day period or you're screwed. Escalate within the time frame if necessary. *Don't waste your time getting an exchange from the merchant as it will be too late for you to get any recourse.
