Disney Infinity available for preorder @ Amazon

I saw some news that there will be new Pokemon game on Wii U that will be similar to Skylander. But look like it is Japan only (for now).

FYI: Best Buy put pre orders up of Disney Infinity and if you preorder you get to pick any extra figure for free! Just ordered it and used $40 in BB rewards too. Final $37 plus free Mike from Monsters.

Guess I will print a picture and put it in a card for my daughter's bday.

Crappy choice of characters to start off with IMO. Toy Story would have been much better.

The most popular ones come later, if not last. I'm sure Disney Princesses and other more popular Pixar ones will launch in a few waves.

Each character comes with a 'world' of their own also, so I can see why only 3 films are represented at launch (from what I can tell). Giving too much variety now would make future waves have lesser content if most of the movies were represented in the game too early.

Theres 4 films, theres also a Cars play set [amazon.com] at launch.

Is there a Disney equivalent to battle royale or smash bros? Those games are awesome...

told my 5 year old about this today and he said "na, dad, I think I will stay with skylanders." problem solved lol.

Not MMO at all I'd say... more like an action/platformer type game with RPG elements on characters.
