Is the 650 Ti worth $30 more than the non-Ti?

Also it seems the in-game cred coupon fetches for $20 Buy It Now on fleabay ($16 after fees), which doesn't net as much as free retail games in the past.

Guess I'll have to continue to wait until nvidia offers a new promotion...

Ti is 2 levels higher so not yet a significant increase, $30 more may not be worth it. Depends also what you are upgrading from...

Better question is, in-game cred aside, is $80 for this 650 a better deal than $86 for the 7770 deal (with v.me):

650 TI has twice the the SPs, so is definitely worth the diff. The price has been lower than $110 for similar products though.

Yep, saw the difference in SPs and figured it'd be worth it, just wanted to hear about anyone's experiences/benchmarks.

As for the $110, sr71, how low has it gone before? You seem like you're on top of pretty much all the graphics cards deals/posts. I've been eyeing the 650 ti mainly so what price should I jump on/would be a real deal?

Not that much in a hurry to buy, I can wait (for a side hackintosh build, hence why I can't go for any of the Radeon 7000 series).

And another question, for video editing, would the 650 vs. 650 ti make much of a difference?

The MSI has been hovering around $105 with the game currency so I'd start there. Think there were Asus deals around that price point too. Would definitely go for the TI over the std 650 but may wait until it breaks the $99 mark, not much of a gap I know. The 650 is pretty fair at the $80 mark where every NVidia x5x seems to hit. Just MHO.

Seen the hierarchy before, but moving up and down tiers, especially in this low of a price market/range is more tricky to figure out whether things are worth it or not. I'm not upgrading so this will be for a fresh new hackintosh (thus can't use the 7770).

V.me would not work on this given the in-game cred coupon is attached.

Also, in terms of power supply requirements, if you're worried about it working with the Corsair CX430, you have nothing to fear, it'll handle the 650 or the 650 ti with ease.

So it says both $75 and then goes on to say $50 for each game. What exactly do you get?

Think it's supposed to be $150 ($50 per game) and then there's a lesser promo on lower-priced cards that is $75 ($25 per game). I think 660s or higher get the 150.
