Last year, Lowe's had the rotary hammer on clearance with people getting YMMV pricing. My local Lowe's doesn't like participating in any clearance posted on SD, so I forgot about it. |

Yeah, that's a regular drill in the link. The rotary hammer can function as both a regular drill and a hammer drill for masonry.

The rotary hammer comes with a SDS chuck, so the other chuck is for regular drilling & driving bits. |

Looks like a great price. Drill is very light (3.5lbs) and uses a 12 volt vs. 18 volt battery. Reviews I've read have been favorable. I've always read to stay away from Li-ion batteries as their shelf life countdown starts the moment their are made (vs. NiCad which starts the moment the consumer begins charging it). With a lifetime warranty program this concern is eliminated.
