Depends on how soon you need ink. The promos have been staggered. No real pattern and they were not that frequent. With the new rewards program they may be more frequent. You should be able to buy ink of the same brand and recycle any brand cart IMO.

I was planning on recycling today and buying ink next month but wondered whether it would make sense to hold off recycling until next week for this ink promo. I take it from your answer that they have these 2x ink promos pretty regularly so that I wouldn't lose out anything by recycling today and doing the promo next month? Also, for the ink promos, can you recycle any kind of ink cart and receive 2x not just the brand you're buying? Thank you.

Good point about running out of ink. I think I'm good to go a while longer but I'm never sure with my printer...it's finicky and only operates if both color and black have ink. One more question: Are they good about returns/replacements if an ink cartridge is defective (for example, it runs dry after a few months of light use)?

What happens if I recycled yest but buy the ink online on the 17th? Does the 7 day grace period for online purchase apply?

So if i go in with 10 ink carts and buy $50 in ink at the same time do i only get charged $10 or do i pay full price then get $40 rewards a month later?

Already recycled 10 carts this month, so would this deal work to get any additional ink rewards? I am just a basic member if that matters.

Well, who wants my empty ink carts. I dont buy original ink and the recycling program now requires it.

So ... with the new recycling program, if I were to recycle 10 and buy $50 worth on the same day, (say the 17th) would my purchase satisfy the $30 in 180 day requirement?
or would it have to be prior to the recycling date (March 17th) ?
