I just got this a few days ago and this has an amazing picture. I don't use its speakers as I have a very good sound system. It doesn't have wi-fi but I already have a blu-ray DVD player that plays Netflix, Pandora, etc. Would recommend.

Shipping is free if you get Inner Circle Service for $30, $80 if you don't.

A 70" LED HDTV is going to cost you $1,600 or more. This is a bargain, in for one. No tax in California, yay.

I have a 50 inch Samsung Plasma in our finished basement, a 60 inch Smart Vizio LED in the living room and this 73 inch DLP in the family room. I have a Roku and WD TV live on the other two with no cable TV in our household (cut the cord three years ago and have never looked back).

Each TV has its pluses and minuses. The LED is in the brightest room in the house and I found it to be the best viewed TV in daylight, the Black level on the plasma is by far the best and personally I think is the best picture when viewed in a darkened room and has the best viewing angle (one of the reasons it's in our larger basement). Love the sheer size of the DLP and I fine myself along with the family gravitating towards the DLP when we are watching movies together.

All the TV's were purchased as a "slickdeal" and I have a squaretrade warrranty only on the DLP.

Hope this helps out somebody with their decision.

Why is this so cheap? I don't understand or pretend to know anything about the specifications but this deal seemed insanely good.
Most of us bought a similar one on BF in 2011 for 699 and at that time we didn't know it was a good deal but just bought a big TV.

I have this TV. If you want a big cheap TV then it is fine. The electronics in this TV are several years out of date. The viewing angles are bad, geometry is bad, and the picture can't compare to any 2013 sets. Its not exactly a boat anchor, but to act like it is some great set is ridiculous.

I guess it depends what you are upgrading from. I had an old Sony Projection TV that refused to die, so I just kept it forever. This is such a step up for me, plus no reflections was a real must.

I am not one of those people who is going to pay a tech $150 to fine tune and calibrate all the settings. I just turn it on and enjoy it. I know this time this listing lasted about 2 hours before it was all sold out. People are getting wise to this deal and snapping it up whenever it pops up again.

There is no evidence that the electronics on this is "several years out of date". It has 3 HDMI, 3D, and 120cps. Maybe you have an older model. this is 2012 model.
