iHome Space Saver FM Stereo Alarm Clock/Charger for Kindle $9.90 B&M YMMV

Got one at the Gainesville, VA store where they were on the shelf clearanced for $39.99 but did ring up $9.99. The employees were impressed with this deal!

Unfortunately, it doesn't work with the HD as previously stated. I did plug in my kid's regular Kindle and it worked great. TU & repped!

Did they have anymore at the Gainesville store? I was going there tomorrow and pick one up for my ole lady.

Hmm my friend has a fire and iPad but he got the fire before and doesn't use it as much anymore... Maybe i can get this for him and have him put use to the fire as an alarm clock and radio. How was the android one like? I've always wanted a dock for my phone but of course they don't make many of them for androids.

My store had the units squirreled away behind stuff. One was labeled $39.99 and the other was labeled $9.90. I think someone was planning on taking them home after work.

The andriod one looked the same pretty much. It was $19 and I didn't look at it carefully.

I was in the store tonight buying FAR photo and Hammermill paper when I ran across the beauty on the shelf. It is normally $59.99 but was on clearance for 9.90


I ahve the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 which doesn't quite work with this. The dock has the a headphone jack next to the micro USB charger and won't fit. Luckily though this ihome allows you to remove that faceplate and unplug it and plug ina cover that has a hole. Through this hole you can plug any USB cord into and then also plug into the headphone jack. The new faceplate also allows you to put any tablet into it and tilts it up. I was able to simply take my dremel and cut a hole though the faceplate so I can set my fire rightside up and not have cords showing

$9.90 is not a nationwide clearance. It looks like this is an online item, probably returned to the store.

The likelihood of anyone else getting this is near 0.

I guess my store had two returns? there was one on the shelf and then I asked if they had another. The manager looked in mid stock and was able to locate a second. Whiel the first oen did look open the second one definitely was NIB.

Also if you go to the website, check in store availability and search 100 miles around the zip code you will see that every store has it listed as a low stock clearance item ()except the Waynesville store I bought from is now sold out). I do not know what that means price wise, but it can't hurt to go in and check. And thanks for appreciating my effort. I jsut want to make sure no one feels discouraged. I will swing by another store tomorrow and see if they also have the $9.90 price sticker and then update. Thank you for your input.

OP, you are correct. the other person is hand-waving. ignore them. it is indeed on clearance and most likely it is the price you posted. will hunt em down tomorrow and shazam them.

They had two of these at my local store plus an android version (that I picked up) for 19.99. Thanks, OP!

I'm just stating facts. Obviously I can't say for sure it's an online-only item, but items ending in .90 are not nationwide clearance so YMMV on this.

At Staples, items ending in .50 are nationwide clearance.

.90 and .50 are both nationwide from my experience.

Staples never does 'local' clearance like BBY or Target.
