So the best buy that I found mine at also had it listed under the clearance section while the other stores in town did not. Perhaps this helps knowing which one to target.

one of the BBs by me had that one listed on clearance, but when i called they didn't have it. i can't seem to find anything anywhere.

Went to a local north GA Best Buy and they didn't have one, but told me that Athens, GA store had one. They called and had them hold it for me.

Drove down today and picked it up, brand new for 695 after tax.

Went to pick up my MacBook Pro MD322LL/A for $1099 (was $2199) and it turned out to be an open box item, but looks brand new and never even powered on. They took another 10% off which brought the price down to $990. Seems like a pretty solid deal.

It's deleted stock, so it doesnt allow you to check out. When i tried to check out for mine when ordering from a different store, they couldnt do it because it was out of stock. So I believe it's becaue technically, it doesnt exist.

Thanks for the insight, I wonder when Bestbuy.com updates their inventory. MY brother actually bought a Lenovo 23" All-In-One for $379 today from a local clearance at Best buy. I noticed it was actually removed from the webpage about 2 hours later.

I might check the store tomorrow for the XPS13 Ultrabook. Cannot hurt as the store is relatively close.

I was able to find a mid 2011 MC966LL/A Macbook Air identical to the one listed by the OP but with 256gb SSD instead of 128GB for 799. This was on Friday morning (March 14). I checked the day before and it was listed for 999, so a 200 price drop took place sometime late Thursday night or Friday morning. It was a brand new clearance unit in a sealed box. This was at the Grafton, Wisconsin store.

Got the MC969LL/A 11" for $640 after tax but I am not sure I want to keep it or it's worth keeping it. Kinda wish it's 13".
