I was on the brand new Celebrity Reflection last month. It was AMAZING... BUT the bar bill was outrageous !! ( but worth every penny!)

Came back and saw this deal and rebooked my next trip for next January w/ this promotion and saved closed to $1000 with the free grats and liquor !! This deal makes it " All inclusive " in all ways !

We use cruise.com to book cruises and have never been steered wrong -- Don't go straight through X... You will not get free grats ( and that is a valuable perk)!

I'm trying to figure out how to fit another cruise in w/ this promo ! Cruising- The way life should be !

I always use cruisecompete which forces the agents to bid against each other....always received better quotes than any site. These deals are pretty good but in general still a little higher than other lines (perhaps that is just Celebrity, I am thinking having heard they are more upscale).

Does Celebrity do any price matching....so if a $1,000 cruise booked on this goes down to $800, can you get adjusted? (I think most others allow this up until your final deposit is due).

You might be able to find a little better price-but what makes this such a great deal is not the price, but the perks. CruCon is giving you the prepaid gratuities along with the free alcohol package offered by Celebrity.

I am a Celebrity loyal cruiser. Yes, they are a higher end but oh so worth it. Look where cheapo cruises got the Carnival cruisers this week -- 2 cruise ships dead in the water !!

I do know ( and have taken advantage of this in the past) If Celebrity has a price drop, they will honor it right up until final payment is due. Personally, I tend to think there will be fewer price drops w/ this new promo since their goal is to fill the ships as far in advance as possible and from what I understand from the cruise boards, this promo is making that happen...

I have never been on a cruise before. Does the average customer age vary by cruise line? What kind of crowd is typically on a Celebrity cruise line?

I traveled on Celebrity to Alaska which tends to already draw an older crowd (compared to the Caribbean). There was a good mix of all ages from young couples with children (they raved about the kids program) to very old people. If you are looking for a wild drunken atmosphere then you might want to cruise with someone else-but personally, I LOVED cruising with celebrity!

Cruisecon is NOT the only company offering this---as they all should be as the deal is actually offered through Celebrity!! These travel agents just make it sound like it is their deal!!

But if one goes through a TA, often they do add in OBC and get a better price on a room if one goes through Celebrity directly.

Im going to look into that myself, on RCI the coronas, etc were $4.75. There is an optional $11/day premium package as well which I may splurge for to get me some guinness for next st pattys day

They have long list of beers, many at $5 and yes some are more! Goto cruisecritic.com and head to the Celebrity forum and do a search on the Classic package and another on the premium package and you will find ur answer!

We took this deal when it first came out in Jan and went with the Classic package as I'm a boring beer and rum/coke guy! 1 can UPGRADE to the premium package which covers drinks ata higher cost! 1 big difference between the 2 packages--is the PREMIUM package--one only has to pay the DIFFERENCE of the drinks--I think 1 is allowed $12 for a drink. Where as on the classic pkg if it is over the $5 for beer//$8 for liquor you pay the whole cost!

I believe to upgrade to the premium it is $11.50 a day $10 for the upgrade and then 15% for gratuity! As well one can UPGRADE onboard so don't have to make the decision now..wait and see. 1 does have to upgrade a certain # of days before the sailing ends though
