I spent a few hours researching before I pulled the trigger on ATH-A900X (never owned a high quality headset before, only cheap $30 or below pairs, so I wanted to get it right)

ATH-A900X
-Closed
-Excellent High, Mids, Lows
-Excellent Soundstage for CLOSED
-Winged band is either love it or hate it for comfort
-Ear pads are stiff and uncomfortable at first, after a few hours of breaking them in, they become softer and much more comfortable for hours long sessions.
-Ears might get warm after a few hours of use (common for Closed)
-Bass is great, and balanced but not overpowering, will do bass heavy genres justice.
-The wing band system seems to favor bigger heads, and makes it much more comfortable and headset will not fall off.

ATH-AD900
-Open
-Bass pretty much non existant
-Vent system (holes on outside of headphones) to let air in and keep your ears cool.
-Soundstage is phenominal, even better then A900X.

I would of got the AD900 open headphones IF BuyDig.com had the newest version which is ATH-AD900X because the bass is far superior then the standard version. The X in the model number dictates Bass.

The X doesn't dictate bass, it dictates that its a newer version, with improvements made to the same headphone. The originals came out more than 5 years ago.

To be honest, that isn't correct either. The X refers to the fact that this is the closed headphone form. That's why it has increased bass. Audio-Technica often makes both open and closed forms of each headset with the X version referring to the closed set.

I am moving into a new place and need a cable modem to support Comcast Blast Plus Internet, and I also need a wireless router. Does anyone know if there are good deals? I'm looking for products that are reliable and inexpensive - I don't need extra features or anything.

Has anyone been able to use the VMESAVESU20 code today? I think they removed it... I'm getting a "Coupon VMESAVESU20 is not found." error, but it should be valid until the end of the month.
