The panel is either S-IPS or S-PVA.
There is no MVA version:

Oh man, if I could only convince my IT department to buy refurbs... I've got a 3 screen 19" setup right now, but the extra real estate from these 1600x1200 without adding much to the physical size would be great... oh well!

Great deal if it works great.... otherwise....Very short Warranty details shows "Buyer pays return shipping"..... that could get spendy.
