Dell Financial Service is selling refurbished 2007FP 20.1" LCD monitors for $79.99 + $10 shipping + tax at their Ebay store. This monitor is 4:3 with 1600x1200 resolution, which is hard to find nowadays for people who has this need. Dell still sells brand new 2007fp for $429! I got 2 for a dual monitor setup.

Some notes about this monitor:
1) It could be either MVA or IPS (better) panel. Dell used both type of panels, so it's a lottery which you will get. The way to tell is if serial number ends in "L", then it's an LG IPS panel else its MVA.
2) This is classified grade 'B' stock. Might have cosmetic scratches.
3) 30 day warranty/return (potential restocking fee).
4) Currently more than 10 available.

The panel is either S-IPS or S-PVA.

There is no MVA version:

This panel was reviewed in 2007, so it's at least that old. This means the unit you get could be on the aged side. CCFL backlights don't last forever.

Costs $300 new from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Dell-UltraS...B000UVDONY

I have two of these flanking my u3011, and it's the best PLP setup possible(though not for gaming purposes)!!! Any u3011 owners should DEFINITELY get these to flank the center display!

Oh man, if I could only convince my IT department to buy refurbs... I've got a 3 screen 19" setup right now, but the extra real estate from these 1600x1200 without adding much to the physical size would be great... oh well! Mad

Great deal if it works great.... otherwise....Very short Warranty details shows "Buyer pays return shipping"..... that could get spendy.

Do you have any experience with Dell ultrasharp 1908FP?, its $20 cheaper from Dell and with faster 5ms refresh rate, but I don't know if the screen quality are the same.

Yeah, crazy that a monitor would have a better resolution than all the widescreen junk these days!
