I have one of these. I paid $110 from JR last year.

good price for a good product. However, just wanna point out that your amazon link is for the 10-cup, not the 5.5-cup.

Also, this model is made in China, not Japan. Many reviews say the Chinese models lack the quality of the others, especially the non stick coating.

After shipping costs, it would be $129.22. A savings of $27.72 or roughly 17.6% compared to Amazon. Not really worth it for a Chinese made model. You can wait for a much better one with a great discount.

If you want to turn it off, you have to uplug it off the wall. Will this wear out your outlet?

Once you unplug, now it runs the clock on battery and you u have to ship it in to get the battery replaced once its dead.

This is a great rice cooker at a good price.

And you can't operate the cooker without the clock.

Many people set it and when they get home the rice is ready.
