I've got two of these and love them. Grabbed a bunch of batteries from those cheap kits. Sweet. I'm thinking about getting another one for a friend who can't afford an ipad.

If they made a tegra3 version of this i'd buy it in a heartbeat...there are other tablets that have swapable batteries but they are so expensive... I bought an HP Touchpad...

Same specs as my atrix 4g phone which in just two years is now considered obsolete.
Tegra2, 16gb, worlds first dual core 1ghz sales pitch is identical. These are capable but not great specs these days and obsolete already. Tegra2 does not live up to my expectations media wise the way it cant hw accelerate all video types and the processor is too weak to software decode.... This stuff doesnt matter to everyone, its "ok" for most things. |

The nook tablet sells for the same as nook color on cowpoop atm (when in stock) if you're dying for a free upgrade to tide you over. I'm still undecided about 7 vs 10", so just watching and waiting. |

to each his own, but it really cracks me up to see people freak about how thick these tablets, phones, etc are when they are impossibly thin by most standards. Yes, I have a Thrive. I actually don't love it, mainly cuz its too wide and awkward to hold. Otherwise, it performs great and I love the replaceable battery, yes I've actually been in a situation where I was away from a power supply for over 8 hours once so I did bring a spare battery. Also LOVE full sized USB ports and HDMI port. Still a pretty capable tablet for 200 bucks, but I probably wouldn't buy at this price.
