yep, the weight restriction is pretty dumb. I guess the azns that designed/made them figured every one on the planet weighs < 200
I use them as short tables to hold keys and mail. You really don't want to be throwing a party and have to tell a large girl she can't sit on them |

I bought 4 of these seats last year from amazon. Two of them has the leather peeling off and 1 unusable because the bent shaft. No one in our family is above 150lbs.

i have 2 that's coming up to 3 years of use. no problems so far and i got them originally from walmart for $89. $50 is a steal imo.

If you want a POS chair for $25, I'm pretty sure you can do better than this at Ikea. I guess you can slap on the "Modern" designation and hook a ton of suckers.

These seats are hugely overvalued. They are worse than you think. Pay more and get less in this deal.

Looks like every couple of months these chairs come up. I will need something similar in the next year or so and will pass on these and wait for them to come back then or see if I can find something similarly priced when I do need them.
