I'm opposed to the posting of numerous threads of regular priced goods with a $15 off coupon code. One could literally make tens of thousands of threads for each individual possibility of what you can use the code with. Unless it's below retail/amazon I wouldn't post it.

OP needs to change the title. These are NOT OEM drives, but rather third party clones.

Also, this is a third party seller listing, not an item sold direct by Rakuten/Buy.com. The reviews are for the seller as a whole, not for this item.

It is very likely that this will not contain the backwards compatibility partition as most third party clones don't install it in order to avoid copyright infringement lawsuits from Microsoft.

Are these going to run original Xbox games (Either from disc or Xbox Originals from marketplace) or I need to add the partition myself?

How is this annoying? It creates awareness for possible uses for a coupon of this type. Someone may know that there is a coupon but doesn't really know the site or how they may use it. For example - maybe I don't need a 360 hdd, but something else for my 360 and then using the instructions, and MY OWN BRAIN I can find uses for the coupon.

It's like you're saying when you took basic math, you could only add if you saw the example and could not figure out the problems when you learned how to do the actual math. EX: 2+2=4. Now I know 2+2=4, but um....how much is 2+3? I did not see it in an example, or a forum thread, so therefore I don't know how to get the answer.

By posting a deal like this, it causes people to click on it out of curiosity to see how this deal can exist.

The OP's deal is legit - you can get the item for the price that's listed, so why is this a problem?

So, does this mean it won't work with one's Xbox? Thinking about getting one but have been holding off because OEM ones are generally unreasonably expensive.

generic harddrive will work with xbox 360 games but will not work with original xbox games without that special partition.
