Please do not knock someone else's efforts when they're trying to contribute to the site, especially when others are finding value in their post.
Also, more specifically, when you are someone who has posted a total of 10 new threads during your 30 months as a member.

The site needs more contribution - not less.

Wow, reading this thread is funny as hell. The majority of people have NO CLUE what they are talking about. The OP knows how ebay works though, educate these people!

The majority of times I don't even want to bother with auctions anymore. I can't deal with the deadbeat buyers on ebay. The majority of the lowlifes come from the videogame section. That seems to be the highest percentage of deadbeat buyers. They don't answer your emails, they don't send a payment, you end up just submitting a "non payment received" claim and you have to wait another 4 days to get your fee money back. Gosh I hate that. I think the majority of lowlifes in this world play video games though... haha, this is coming from someone who is a gamer.

Fixed listing + "Require immediate payment when buyer uses Buy It Now" = Seller bliss.

I haven't done much ebay selling for years now, since ebay and paypal combined to rape people of their wallets.

i hate having to pay insertion fees... why pay for it when you can insert for free?

Fixed price listings are discounted to 20cents instead of 50 cents. Of course you pay a monthly fee (of $15.95) but if you sell a lot of items with fixed listings (like over 100) you will save money going this route.

I hope you have an ebay Store then with cheapest for $16 and you pay $0.20 / list which means that if you list at least 54/month then you are better off having a Store as you will save more.
