These headsets are on sale at best buy for 130.99.
They retail for 299.95 on the turtle beach website. I think they are a great deal if you can find it @ a best buy store near you.
Only thing is they are 5.1 surround sound not 7.1.
Other than that i think this is a good buy.

Looks like a great price for a high-end wireless gaming headset, which I'd like to buy. But not available anywhere. Checked Michigan, Florida, Kansas City area. Oh, checked the obligatory 90210 in Cali. Found it available at the Hawthorne, CA location.

These were in stock everywhere a few days ago. Someone posted it earlier this week and most were bought then. I had to drive about 20 miles to get my pair but it was worth it IMO.

You have to get an 3.5mm adapter. It has optical in and out and regular audio plugs in the receiver, but the headset it self has bluetooth so you can connect it with your phone or other bluetooth devices.

Wireless headsets are great, but you need the right transmitter. My transmitter will allow me to go anywhere in my 3k sqft house(behind walls, inside closets, etc) and about 30-40 yards outside my home.It starts skipping at about 40 yards(my walk to the mailbox is about 50). This Turtle Beach headset, however, is not great. The thing about wireless headsets and transmitters is, if you're going to do it, drop a bomb on them $ wise. I don't mean overpay. I mean you should buy high quality stuff. Once you start using bluetooth wireless, you'll use it almost every single day. Any parent with napping children or that likes to watch TV or listen to podcasts at night. I don't know how many nights i've gone to sleep this year listening to Star Talk Radio, cool philosophy/political lectures, or watching general TV without worry of waking up my wife and/or son. Vacuuming while listening to music or podcasts/lectures=way less dull. Money well spent

will this work for just using to watch tv so you can hear sound without waking up someone? Of course will use it for gaming too but would be nice for an all in one.
