the damaged bolt/screw removal sets are only a $1 off regular price. was about to get all three when i realized it. some of the others might be a hot deal, but these do go down to the $6ish range... some of the others seem to be a better deal like the spade bit set, etc.

No deals on mechanics kits that I can see. I've been patiently watching as boating season approaches and I need an upgrade in tools, but it looks like I missed the good stuff back at Christmas.

how come the 4pc and the 5pc bolt removers are the same cost? am i missing something? obviously the 5pc comes with an extra piece, but what is the difference between the sets?

What 4 pc? I see a 5 pc that has the larger sizes. And a 6 pc that has the smaller sizes, a punch, and the case to hold all 10 bolt-outs.

sorry i meant the 5pc vs the 6pc and yeah i see the difference now. i guess getting both is the best way to go then to make sure you have all of the sizes? that case is really nice too.
i wish this deal came literally 2 days earlier as i was trying to remove a 1950's medicine cabinet from the firewall of a rental unit. both the screws and bolts (not sure why they used bolts, w/e) were stripped out completely. my guess is that someone tried to remove it already and couldn't - so they primed it, sanded it, then put vinyl sheeting over it. i used a prybar and eventually got it lose enough to then use pliers and get the bolts and screws off to get the cabinet down. i took the vinyl sheeting off and whew, this thing was rusting out big time. i took it to the street for the trash/recycling pickup. it was gone literally within 20 mins. now i'm kicking myself if i could have made $20 from scrapping it haha
