SKU = 6571643
This is an in-store item only so no online stock checker. (NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE! Link above)

What's in the Box:
4-disc 3D blu-ray version of The Avengers (3d blu-ray, 2d blu-ray, DVD, Digital Copy)
208 page Hardcover book with artwork
$30 gift card to Sideshow Collectables (reportedly expires 9/25/2013)

For those of you who have been doing the daily Facebook polls, this could be the perfect item to use that Facebook offer of getting 500 rewards points back for spending $10 effectively making this gift set $10

edit: Just got back from purchasing two copies. Price rings up $19.99 in store so no worries there.

also added a picture of the front and back for anyone interested.

All indications are that this sale should last a week but Best Buy is known to abruptly stop a promotion. Or the store could simply run out.

I guess if you just wanted to be a jerk reseller i guess it doesnt then......

But again if you were buying as gifts or even for giveaways then maybe it would.......

And if you just want to be a reseller, it doesn't matter either.

You do understand the concept of Capitalism? You do realise that companies like Bestbuy, Walmart, Target, etc all buy something with the intention of selling it for higher than they paid for it? Why should it be any different for anyone else?

Don't tell me, your a Democrat.

You know the best thing about Slickdeals?? Nobody here is dumb enough to buy from jerk resellers. Hope it works out for you. Now you're asking me my political affiliation? What is this, the yahoo.com comment section? How the mighty forum has fallen......

I know a lot of international people who love jerk resellers. That is the only way they can get these US exclusives easy.

Most resellers are stupid because they can't do the math. As someone pointed out eBay charges 12% commission on movies. Paypal charges around 3% fee. You have to tag at least 15% to break even. Depending on state tax, you could still lose money at $25. And let's not forget you need boxes to ship out this item. So hopefully you've been saving those Amazon boxes so you don't have to pay for boxes. Unless your post office is within walking distance, don't forget the gas money.

Keep in mind, most people have this movie already. Target sold its 3D exclusive edition for $20 during the first week. This was the biggest blockbuster of 2012 in terms of box office sale, most people would have picked up this movie for 20 bucks from Target online or in-store. Not to mention Best Buy sold this item for $40 for a while. There is a reason why this item is hard sell at $30 today.

Looking at eBay, many $30 giftsets don't even have a bid. Only idiots will even consider reselling this on eBay. Selling to international buyers? I did it just once. It cost $60 to ship to Singapore. This is a very heavy item. You will not find many people willing to pay that much for a movie. Unless you ship it using express mail, there isn't any USPS tracking for international packages. So you're at the mercy of buyer who wants to rip you off by reporting to eBay that they didn't get the item even though they got it. I stopped selling anything to international buyer because someone in Germany pulled this trick on me (on unrelated item). I ended up losing the item plus shipping because eBay closed the case in buyer's favor.

Jerk resellers are no match for fraudulant buyers on eBay. If international buyer filed a non-receipt case on eBay, seller automatically loses. There isn't USPS tracking for international packages. The only international shipping method that has full tracking is the express mail. I guarantee nobody wants to pay for express mail on this heavy item.

Most of the stuff we can't get directly from who Best Buy gets it from though and that's the difference. Can we get this product from anywhere other than Best Buy (not counting resellers)?

And it's not just the act of reselling. It's when people clean out a store of 19 to resell. If you're so into Capitalism, you wouldn't have a problem with all store employees working together on Black Friday by buying everything in the ads before the stores open then notifying people at the door that they are willing to individually sell each item to the people waiting in line for a small markup. Everyone wins right? You pay less than regular price and they are making a profit. The beauty!

Just picked up three at the best buy on golden ring road in rosedale, MD. They were just sitting on the shelf in the action section which I totally did not expect. Actually walked around the entire store before finding it. There are still three left and retails at $70.

I already have the 3D but at $19.99 its too good to pass up so I got it, used a free $20 certif and went straight to Walmart and gave just the 3D combo and got $37 and change in store credit. Slick deal!
Had you already bought the 3D Avengers at Walmart and then returned the unopened box from the BB combo?

Or does Walmart rebuy Dvd's now? Couldn't find info on Walmart site, but I didn't look too hard.

walmart takes almost anything back without receipt as long as the upc code does scan.

Would anyone be willing to mail me their Sideshow Giftcard? I have no use for the actual amount, I just want to try and get one of each character. Send me a PM please. It should only cost one postage stamp to mail (I imagine you can send it in a regular envelope).

When you're on their website, go to the bottom and find a link that says Gift Cards or something. It should bring up a list of the items that are gift card eligible. I don't think a single person has used theirs...if that tells you anything

Really? My Wal-Mart has a sign that says receipt is required I think. I know once I just wanted to exchange a movie (I had DVD packaging for a blu-ray.DVD combo and wanted blu-ray packaging) and they gave me flak for not having a receipt but allowed me to do it anyway. I don't think she actually rang anything up either...just had me get the movie from the back and bring it back to her at Customer Service

Walmart should let you do 3 no receipt returns a month. When the amount is over $50 is when they complain about it but will do it most of the time.
