HOME DEPOT -- Honeywell WiFi Programmable Thermostat YMMV Up To $100 Rebate!
I was picking up some items for a project at my local Home Depot (Shrewsbury, MA) when I stumbled upon a Slick Deal. Near the registers they are promoting a rebate for Honeywell WiFi Programmable thermostats.
There are two options, one for $119.98 and one for $149.98. I selected the $119.98, 7-day model. The more expensive one has a touchscreen. They both work through an app on your smart phone so you can control your heating and air conditioning from anywhere.
There are forms by the thermostats for up to a $100 mail-in rebate. Thus, my $119.98 purchase will be $19.98 (without sales tax) once I receive the check in the mail. If for some reason you find the thermostats for less than $100, you won't receive the full $100 back in rebate form. You need a copy of the receipt and the UPC code for the rebate. You also have to be sure that your gas or electric company is compatible. There is a clearly stated list of approved companies on the rebate.
I recommend checking your local Home Depot for the rebate deal!
