The Raspberry Pi is a single-board computer developed in the UK by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card sized computer that plugs into your TV and a keyboard. It’s a capable little PC which can be used for many of the things that your desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word-processing and games. It also plays high-definition video.More information can be obtained at the Element 14 Community pageShop all Raspberry Pi accessories
I have one of these, but it I haven't done anything with it besides installing Linux. Keep in mind that you'll need an SD card to hold the operating system, a usb keyboard and mouse, a power adapter (cell phone chargers work sometimes), and an HDMI cable to connect it to a TV. You may also want a usb wireless adapter. The Raspberry Pi only has 2 usb ports, so you may need a usb hub, as well. It all depends on what you want to do. Those items, along with the shipping, bring the price up a bit before you have a working system. Also, these things are always around $35.
