9-day Tour of China+flights for $999

i've been to China but not to Beijing or Shanghai and it is a great place to visit and would love to go to both those cities but i'm more scared of the 16 hr flight then any "dangerous" things in China

Dude, a 16 hour flight is just about perfect. Enough time to eat and then watch a movie or two and get some sleep. I hate the short 8 hour commutter flights. Not enough time to settle in. My longest flight ever was Delhi to Amsterdam. Not far as the crow flies, but my crow zip zagged about. 34 hours.

travfar, if you think China, whatever province, is a great place to live, just go there to enjoy.

One thing I know for sure that I don't care living there is the censorship of what you say and/or think. Dare to say what's on your mind overthere, like what you're doing here on SD.

Food for thought!

Don't take me wrong. If I'm allowed to be there for a short period of time, like a 6 hour lay-over from my flight and take a dump in the airport restroom, I'll do it with my utmost pleasure. Just a small way of saying thanks for making all those crap products, some health hazard. (and I sincerely hope the Chinese people won't mind my pollution on their land)

i wish i could sleep on the flight i would go back more often... i'm 6'7 and about 240 and those Asian Airlines dont exactly have a lot of legroom...





i think China is a great place to live but doesnt mean i want to live there as i think my city is the best in the world...

Same with spitting. People make a big deal about people spitting in China. They are noisier about it, but I think the most spitting I see ever is in NYC.

Define "great". When I wanna say something and the gov't covers up my mouth, you call that "great"?

What's horrible then? They stuff it up your behind if you say something they don't like?

Someone needs to tell all the MLB players/team owners to stop spitting, almost everyone of them spit - especially when they're at bat, hits the ball and goes around the bases, if they have to slide into home, they'll actually be smearing on their uniforms with all the spits that occured by other batters from earlier innings.

been to hong kong/shenzhen, seoul, japan and even the dmz but not yet to beijing....all on business. sounds like a killer deal for the price but my next asia vacations are to vietnam, thailand, and singapore in that order.
