 A quick background, the lowest price was $288 back in February from Fry's (in store deal only I think). I would say it is decent. I just looked at the manual online, and it looks like you do not have separate volume control for the 2 zones. That is important to me. Otherwise I would be interested in this as a gift for my daughter. I have 2 Yamaha receivers and I think they are great. This is a really good price.

The spec’s are hard to read. Question for the Pros here; Does this model have the HDMI upconvert that the previous front page model RX-V473 5.1 lacked, or do you have to go up another notch or two to the model RX-V673 or RX-V773-WA to get it?
