is this a good deal? I currently have G5 with 14-45mm, 45-150mm and 25mm pana/leica lenses.
I wouldn't mind getting X lens for My G5 and selling GF5 body with 14-42mm manual lens that my G5 came with...how much would i be able to take for this combo on CL or ebay? Is the seller reputable? |

I got the GF5 with the manual 14-42mm for $300 from New Egg a few months ago. I bought the X lens. Big mistake. Thing sucks as much as everyone says it does. Seller is legit, but tax.

I hope this isn't one of the older lens that have the hardware error. Plan to use the method from this Amazon user to test the lens.

Didnt know that. Was looking at the camera to buy. thanks for info I lost my panasonic a few months back, I really liked it. Definately looking for a replacement for a good price |

Does anyone have any experience with this camera compared to the NEX-3? I'm thinking of picking up the upcoming NEX-3N (discounts and deals) and am wondering if it's worth the extra 50-70$ for the NEX over the GF5x?

If you are going to be using the kit lens all along, 3N is likely going to be better in the PQ department in low light. If you need quality lenses at an affordable price (or just availability of many quality lenses), m43 is the way to go for mirrorless at the moment. Also E mount lenses are not compact except for a couple.
