There are a few ways to know whether a deal is slick without knowing much about the product info. The obvious one is price in relation to what other vendors charge. In this case the same laptop for the same price was on the front page a few weeks ago. Again... I posted this deal for people who may be interested in buying it. Based on some of the messages that people left when giving me reputation points there are definitely people who did buy it. Don't take this as a slight and it's not necessarily directed towards you... But it's kind of funny if not sad how some posters in this thread who have made little to no contribution to SD are giving me advice on how to post deals when half the garbage they buy are probably from deals I posted on SD. Some people just don't get it... I'm not on any commissions and have nothing to gain by sharing deals on SD. I'm kind enough to give up my own time to try and help others. Oh... I apologize if I "annoyed" you. It certainly wasn't my intent when posting the thread. |

But it's helpful for us if deal posters put out the pertinent information in the title thats typically looked for.. (which is why you may get random troll-posters complaining about not putting out said info: price, resolution etc..) Do it in the future, and you'll avoid most trolls. He could've just said, can you *please* put the reso in the title.. but he didn't so I understand your defensive stance. Either way it's sort of a standard format or common courtesy to put things like the price, or if it's a rebate required deal.. but.. some posters (even ones that have been around for awhile) STILL don't put the price in the title etc.. Hopefully you get where some buyers come from when they lash at you without warrant. But I appreciate you posting this "deal" on a 1366 15.6" laptop anyway.

What the hell ever happen to helping each other out ![]() As already said, being polite, making suggestions to make the thread a better one is what everyone benefits from. All the bickering and saying it should be done this way for benefits of certain types of folks, no one is going to be sitting here saying, I wonder how this SDer wants to see the information, oh wait, this one will complain, blah blah blah. Sad, as this site has gone up in popularity, the members have gone down in attitude. "You can either Score a Deal or Sell a Deal, either way, remember where you are....THIS IS Slick Deals

![]() Appreciative people like you are the reason I post deals ![]() I get a lot more positive feedback than negative which is the reason why I'm still posting deals here and I do appreciate and read all the "thank you's" that people post in the threads I start. A simple "thank you" goes a long way some times. |

You and a good chunk of this thread need to stop thread crapping and post something half useful to someone. You can know if something is a good deal in comparison to previous posted products without knowing every miniscule detail about a product- if you can't connect the dots yourself you should keep your rudimentary thoughts to yourself. OP- thanks for posting the deal. Last edited by sKaGgZiLLa; 03-20-2013 at 10:38 AM.. |
