Trip in mid-April

Hi everyone,

I am currently in the middle of busy season (I'm an accountant) and the more I've been thinking about it, I would love to take a trip somewhere warm(er than Buffalo) the weekend after April 15th. I was thinking something like a 3 or 4 day cruise or a beach somewhere. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've been to various parts of Florida many times over the years so I would like to try somewhere new. I've also never cruised before and I'm not sure if 3-4 days is worth it.

Vacation is always worth it. Carnival offers 3 and 4 day cruises... Quick trips to key west or Cozumel. Between the spa and room service I would be happy not leaving the boat some days.. Lol. The killer $ is going to be the flight to Miami or Ft. Lauderdale. On our last trip, it cost as much for flights as our grand suite! Def be on the lookout for specials deals (usually JetBlue has some good ones)

I think since you're going 3-4 days, departing from Florida would be your best bet. I would personally avoid any itinerary that goes to Nassau Bahamas. I just didn't like it the last time I was there. Key West was enjoyable and a place I wouldn't mind going again.

I have done a short cruise to Cozumel (from Texas) and hated it. Only got to spend a few hours on Cozumel and the entertainment on the ship was not good. Would recommend for a short vacation, you just fly to the warm place of your choosing so you can spend more time relaxing on the beach.
