Buy $20 card using $5 reward zone gift certificate makes new price $15.
Get 500 points ($10) in reward zone points for Facebook/Reward Zone promotion for spending over $10.

So can I say I got $25 Microsoft Points (2000 point card) for $10?

Only if you don't turn around and say you saved another $10 when you use those Reawrd Zone points.

Just bought this, and picked it up. I have a BB about 5 minutes away. I've already been emailed my code for the 400 points. Still don't see the 500 points from FB though.

This is in their ad.. sort of. They just added the regular points card to their promo. The sale promo is to highlight Gears of War 3 and its Map Pass. I think Gamestop has been having the same promo for the last 2 or 3 weeks too. Nice deal to those who need points. I would have got some but I already have like 8000 points. I get an error code when trying to redeem the emailed 400 MS points through my xbox. It acknowledges the code is for 400 points, but generates an error when confirming. Xbox.com doesn't even recognize the code as good. Hmm.

A quick google search looks like this has happened to others that have been emailed codes through BB, and Bing. Will give it another try later tonight, and tomorrow morning, before calling BB.

Had an issue getting my 400MS last time they had a promo like this...I never got the email no matter how many times I called them and they told me they would resend it. Finally after 2 weeks of me complaining they sent me a $30 gift card. Debating on whether or not to try it again.

I've had FREE Bing points fail before. They resolved the matter in a couple of hours. Currently sitting on 32,000 < FREE MS points from the last BBY deal, so this isn't for me. Good luck to everyone else though!

edit: so the 1600 points code actually came in about 5 minutes. I attempted to redeem it online, but it wanted to text/call my phone for account verification and I don't have the same phone number. I can change the phone number on my account, but I have to wait one month for the change to happen? Really Microsoft???? How lame. Will try to redeem it later through my 360. And now about 30 minutes later got another code for the bonus points.

The bonus 500 points will take about 3 - 4 weeks just like regular reward points that you get after making a purchase. The reason is to make sure you won't be returning the item after you get the reward points.
