If you already have Triple play but slow internet (Mine is 10/2 since 2008), you can upgrade to Quantum 50/25 at no additional cost. Just ordered online after chatting with a rep. The steps:

Log on to your account and view your service.
Click add or change a service.
Build your own bundle, you will see upgrade to Quantum will add $5/mo.
There is a small green Bonus button on the right side of the screen, click and you will see a $5.24 offer.
Select your TV and phone plan ( I chose the same as before) and add to cart.
Go through a couple of pages for more options/services, and select either $5.24/mo offer, a $120 gift card or 1 yr HBO (I selected $5.24/mo offer).
Check out and submit your order.

For me the total came out the same as my currently monthly cost, but with a download speed 5 times faster. Don't know if this is regional (I am in NJ).

I have the 35/35 plan, which they apparently don't offer anymore. And I routinely get 40+/40+, even during peak times. My contract is almost up, and I hope they don't change it.

Same for me. My real speeds are more like 42/42.

I am given the option of adding 50/25 for $0 or 75/35 for $5. It has been this way since my contract expired in December. The $5 credit or HBO credit is new.

Are you sure that your cost is the same as your current monthly cost? For the first month the cost is the same then it jumps by $30 a month for rest of the 2 yr contract for me.

I think that is like that for all Verizon's plans, I have 75/35 and get 85+/45+ all the time. Love Verizon especially with that price mistake bundle 2 months ago.

I have the same thing. I guess we are grandfathered in. The Quantum upgrade I see is $10 more and 75/25

I just added triple to my acct and it starts in a couple of days and I was able to get the free bump from 15/5 to 50/25. It took me probably a total of 2 hours on the phone calling back to get better deals because of their current online 89.99 w 250 gc deal expiring tomorrow. Kept saying that I think i can get a better deal online and that I need to cancel my current pending order.

called about 4 different reps and all did different promotions for me. last rep bumped my fios up for "free" charge of $10 with $10 credit for the whole 2 years

I noticed that the $10 promotion is good for month 2-12. I chatted with the CR and was told that after 1 year you have to choose to stay with 50/25 (price they don't know yet, but will be informed 30 days ahead before the promotion end) or change to other plan. However, you will not have a option to stay with your grandfathered plan. In my case, I have 10/2 which they no longer offer, I will be forced to upgrade to 15/5 plan.
