I was honestly shocked after I found out that our food supply was basically compromised.
And now Congress decides to end meat regulation. Screw it that every single time's that's happened they start finding feces inside the meat. I am neutral with GMO's. Honestly, all the data points to it being safe, however, there are other concerns. |

You can make 10.66 gallons of your own roundup for $15.69. Sorry but this is a terrible deal. Just buy
glyphosate 41%, Roundup lost the patent for it back in 2000. It is about double the strength of Roundup concentrate. Same ingredient as Roundup red label. It is even cheaper if you buy larger size than 16 oz. But for $1.56 a gallon, 10.66 gallons would last me 3 seasons. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hi-Yield-...43b1da54f1 |

for those that want all vegetation in the area to be dead for up to a year, I would suggest using groundclear, it's 1 gallon for $20 and its a concentrated liquid, you mix per instructions on the back for your sprayer. this roundup extended is for 4 months so do the math, groundclear is cheaper if you want your ground dead and do not need to regrow for a while. works good in places like rock landscaping where plants aren't supposed to grow anyways and I know groundclear works because my mom is wierd and wanted her back yard free of grass and weeds, and it worked somewhat a year, maybe 8 months or so and I sprayed the place like 3 or 4 times

Compare-N-Save 1 gal. Grass And Weed Killer 41% Glyphosate Concentrate [homedepot.com] Price is $24.97. 1 gal. container provides up to 85 gal. of ready-to-use grass and weed killer. 29 cents a gallon If you have a qualified Capital One Card and haven't done the ShopSavvy deal yet Compare-N-Save 2.5 gal. Grass And Weed Killer 41% Glyphosate Concentrate [homedepot.com] Price is $49.97 ($20 Statement Credit for Capital One would make the price $29.97). 2.5 gal. container provides up to 210 gal. of ready-to-use grass and weed killer to treat up to 630,000 sq. ft. 14 cents a gallon with ShopSavvy Capital One Deal I bought the 1 gallon last year and still have about a 1/3 left. That includes spraying my entire front yard grass three times to kill it to replace it with landscaping rocks. This stuff works great, I do make it stronger then the directions but I think even at the instructions it would work as instructed. I bought the 2.5 gallon with the Capital One deal. I'm set for a long time now. Last edited by nicemann; 03-20-2013 at 05:29 AM.. |

I get Drexel Imitator Plus Concentrate when it's on sale (or whatever is cheapest) in a 2.5 Gallon jug, but then I have a LOT of weeds.
Concentrate is the only way to go with this stuff IMO. As long as it has Glyphosate in a 41% concentration and it's cheap I don't care what the name brand is. http://www.ruralking.c |

Ok question?
I want to kill everything trying to pop up between two, large bushes on each end of my mother's, sad, rockgarden. She's too old to maintain the roses, so I yanked them out and a few yellow, bushes. So, now, I see weeds trying to come up...plus, very few rocks left. Parent, gotta luv 'em. if, I spray The groundclear a foot away from each tree/bush, will it be ok? Then, buy some rocks/fake mulch to put down. I worry about it soaking to the roots of the large bushes. My mother's bushes are her only kids left at home. Thanks for the info from everyone... After thinking about it, I passed on this deal and I'll just let the weeds do their thing. I'd rather have my dogs walk around the chemical free weed filled yard anyway. |

anyone have suggestions for this?
1. weeds on my very edge of the yard outside my fenceline, large brush, unknown other plants. can i spray strong stuff without it affecting my backyard wehre my dogs play? 2. weeds in the backyard where the dogs play. mainly clover, crabgrass. they roll around in and eat the grass and will drink puddle water if they can get to it before i stop them so it has to be something as natural and safe as possible. pulling isn't working effectively. 3. i am also reseeding my entire lawn so i cant use a weed preventer because it will stop the seeds from germinating. |
