Misleading. It's $180 - $30 = $150 out of pocket. Then $20 mail in rebate to hit $130.

Bought 2 of these monitors. One on cyber monday for 140AR and one later for about the same price. Awesome monitor for the price. For 130AR it's a no brainer. I may need a third and another graphics card! haha

Hmm, after CA tax it's $165.24, then -$20 rebate (+ stamp) makes it roughly $146. Deciding whether it's still worth it, any more comments about this monitor to sway me one way or another?

I don't think it will be much of an upgrade seeing how they're both TN panels with 1920x1080 res. This one is 0.6" bigger diagonally than the HP, and even though I haven't seen both in person, I highly doubt 0.6" will make a difference. Bottom line, I wouldn't do it.

Amazon Price Match(?):
http://www.amazon.com/Asus-VS247H...B005BZNDS0
$129.99 after $20 rebate also

Much cheaper for those that don't have to pay Amazon Sales tax.

But you could always have 2 monitors going at the same time...

An IPS panel would like this one (for a little more money) would look noticeably better. http://slickdeals.net/f/5916570-Dell-S2340M-23-LED-1920x1080-Full-HD-Widescreen-Monitor-150-Free-Shipping-Ebay-Daily-Deal?v=1&t=5916570. However, the glossy screen on it is something some people like and some people hate. Also, hardcore gamers tend to appreciate the super fast response times of TN panels more than IPS panels, but for the vast majority of people, IPS panels look much better than TN mainly because of their better color saturation and viewing angles.
