PC manufacturers and Intel decided that the low-voltage processors were good enough on standard sized laptops. This was done to cut costs, and in some ways increase battery life. But in no way is this thin or light.

The term is trademark by intel and weight is not a factor for the laptop to be term ultrabook. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultrabook

weight is proportional to size you know.
a 4.6lb is a bit on the heavy side for a 13.3", but for a 15.6" it's not too bad.
