GTX 660 itself might be better than this. But considering this is coming with 2 free games that can be sold on Ebay for about $40, isn't this a better deal?

the galaxy included 3 games codes that if you sell them individually you should get $40 as well. So imo the codes are a wash.

Yea gtx660 is better imho and I'm kicking myself now I didn't checkout the many times I placed in the cart debating... I know it's a vast marketplace and all but I'll take actual games to resell instead of in-game coin anyday. I just can't wrap my head around people using real money for fake. Then again is any money technically real? I suppose perceived value is enough for most I suppose. But someone's junk is someone else's treasure so to speak... Maybe it's bitterness talking but I probably wouldn't the difference with one or the other. Question is, jump on this or wait if I've waited 2 months already...?

I say wait and don't beat yourself up. Now that the 660 has hit a new low point outside of black friday, you can be sure it'll hit it again.

I have this card. Got it for 150 in a deal late last year. Does 306 Mh/s if you want to bitcoin mine. That is about 1 BTC a month. Gives me about $25 a month over the cost of power at current exchange rates.

I have been looking to buy a video card for the last 3 months. If you are like me and willing to spend at most $200 for a card(after tax, s/h, MIR and selling game codes) then here are what I think have been the best deals lately.(All of them I have missed)
1.)Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 XT $220 from TD or less w/ cash back (Included Tomb Raider and Bioshock).
2.)Powercooler 7870 Myst Edition $209 from Newegg (Included Tomb Raider and Bioshock).
3.)Galaxy GeForce GTX 660 $163.50 from Newegg (Includes the 3 game codes)

Assuming the game codes are a wash then your paying about $50 more for the 7870 Tahiti vs the 660 which based on the performance differences seems worth it. I would have been nervous about owning the Powercooler Myst because I have always OC'd my cards far above they are out of the box. The Sapphire 7870 for those like me who would pay no tax, no shipping and get 5% cash back from Tiger direct I could have got that card for $209 -$40 for the codes so $169. I would have loved that because it's a great cooler and will overclock well with no issues with heat or sound. I probably will just wait for the Sapphire XT to get back to that same price and then I just need to be lucky to see it.

Well, it's sort of like when buying an entire game, except you sort of get an unlimited basic trial version of it for free and then pay in-game cash for the add-on expansions.

Well I'd rather take the games of course but the codes that came with the gtx 660 deal a couple days ago still have enough value to make the card about ~$120 after all rebates and fleabay fees. This 7850 is nearly the same price after selling the games so personally I'd rather take the more powerful card, the GTX 660.
