Are these the same as "wet wipes"? A friend suggested that I start using wet wipes because I have a lot of hair around my rear exit which results in a lot of residue building up after I do my business. I was told that wet wipes are more effective at preventing residue buildup. Please respond.

Get a Washlet/bidet. Everything else is going to smear it into the hair.

Try removing peanut butter from your hair with a wipe. Same result.

The kind of TP you use greatly affects residue. Scotts toilet paper, the original 1000 sheet per roll kind, while not as soft, doesn't leave as many linty particles... from there, any kind of wipe will work, and after using the wipe, dry up with a half piece of Paper towel, Bounty or Scott brand to keep yourself dry..

Not sure if your post was sarcastic or not, but for your butt (see what I did there ) best to keep it dry after wiping and using a wipe..
