This was in the circular that arrived today for the sales starting tomorrow. The info will probably appear on the website when they update the info on there around midnight tonight.
Only other info available right now is:
- Must add the offer to your card using JustForU
- While supplies last
- Must be in one transaction, one $15 per transaction
- Subject to fees (activation)

pack of 4 $50 cards had activation fee of $15 at staples. It is worth a shot if the fee is less then $10. |

hmmm so can get 100 (less activation fee) worth of Visa GC for $85? Seems like an arbitrage opportunity here...

Thanks for the heads up, we will have to see if there is/what the activation fee is on these, it could still be worthwhile. Gotta love these deals with a high rate cashback card (for example, Amex Preferred 6% at Safeway).
Note for using credit on these: Depending on the pre-paid card you are buying, some may require cash payment only (cash/debit). It will note this on the card, near the activation fee cost. as in say 50+5fee X 2= 110-15 = 95 at the register? Will there be issues with using CC? I got a card that will give me 5% back. Has anyone scaled this up using CC at Safeway/Tom Thumb? I have only done it with OfficeMax, Staples, Office Depot. |

I've gotten a card in the past that took $15 off 100, $3.95 activation fee, and got 6% casback on an Amex. Here's hoping for a close repeat.
