Total included DLCs for each platform. PC includes both DLCs for ME1. PS3 includes all but last story DLC for ME2. X360 includes zero DLC.
http://www.ign.com/wikis/mass-effect-trilogy X360 version is listed to include Cerberus weapon but I think that is not longer included as it was limited free download. Zaeed character in ME2 requires the code which has expired. Last edited by Vortex3D; 03-20-2013 at 09:00 PM.. |

If you never bought any ME2 DLCs on X360, you get all but the last DLC free on PS3 version. As for achievement and trophy, X360 version has more achievements on ME2 since the DLCs are sold separately and you are given more achievements in the DLCs. If you don't like huge hard drive install, you can run directly off X360 DVD discs. While ME2 and ME3 have two discs each, you only do the discs swap 2-3 times in the game. For a game that long, I just don't understand the difficulty have to swap the disc after so many hours. PS3 version require large install for every game, I think around 4 or 5GB each for the main game. If you own both versions on PS3 and X360, this is how I could recommend how you play. Try to play as different role, choose what Shepard does in each platform and gender. That way, you don't feel like playing the same game twice the same way on both consoles. And you get to experience both voice actors performance. Also you get to romance the opposite side as they are quite different. Last edited by Vortex3D; 03-21-2013 at 12:10 PM.. |

While PC has cheap hard drive, I still hate having the game to need so much hard drive space. I think that is the reason final Citadel DLC is so huge at 4GB as the code is simply poorly optimized. 4GB is like half of the entire ME2 or ME3 X360 main game. |

It's the value of the ME Trilogy to you. If it's something you must play when you have the time, then get it now since it's a good price. Or, you can always risk to see if ME trilogy is still around $30 when you are ready. Changes is it will get to around $30 or lower the longer you wait as games rarely have value as they get old. If you don't care the multiplayer in ME3 or the extra character(s) in ME2 bundled DLC, then you can always find the pre-owned copy for all the games. |
