Try code "tenoff" for 5% off. (Yeah I know, makes no sense)
I'm going to post this with a little hesitation as the whole E cigarette thing can be a little overwhelming and I don't want to confuse anyone. Please read carefully. And Please check the Wiki for any updates.
I recently bought an Ego-C E-cigarette kit with two1000mAh batteries that I paid $83 for. You can see it here https://www.cignot.com/ProductDet...IT-EBC-ALL
Found the FastTech kit doing some browsing and ordered it and have been pleasantly surprised. It does come with a EU style charger but the charger is a two part charger and is can be used with any USB charger.
The bad.
Now for the good.
You will need juice. I tried a bottle of the Apple from FastTech and it was fine. See more below and the Wiki about what you will need.
An explanation of mine quoted that I had posted in another thread for a different kit that may help explain the e cigarette thing a little better. There is a little information on this kitover there. Also one more person that bought the kit and likes it very much. Find it at http://slickdeals.net/f/5884756-V...st58328704
Scroll down a little to see the discussion of the FastTech kit.
YMMV
I make no claims as to safety as I haven't really heard of much research having been done on E cigarettes. Do know my smoker's cough cleared up in a matter of days. First thing that has ever worked for me in 30+ years of smoking.
UPDATE 3/31 They are now offering a greatly expanded inventory of kits. They now have the US plug charging adapter. They also have single battery kits for as low as $10 for an even cheaper option to try out ecigs. Another kit is also claiming to have 1300 mAh batteries.
Here is a link to all the kits with the US plug.

The higher the mAh the longer the battery will last you. I'm not going to update the thread as the EU style charger kit is the cheapest. The US plug kits are about a dollar more.

The bad.
- They claim to be Ego batteries but I do have my doubts.
- There are no markings.
- Doesn,t charge on my Ego charger.
- Lack the color changing LED to indicate battery status that the Ego has.
- Shipping is typical Hong Kong slow. Took about a week and a half for me. Better than some of the other China sites.
Now for the good.
- So far they are working just as well as my Ego batteries
- Hold a charge just as long
- All the plentiful Ego branded or Ego style accessories work with them(except the charger)
- Very cheap alternative to try out E cigarettes
- If you don't like it for this price toss it

Quote : No it doesn't come with the juice. They do have it on their site and I ordered a small bottle just to try. There are plenty of US retailers selling the juice and most get it to you in a couple of days. I've used Vaporgods.com , rawrvapor.com , and awesomevapor.com and they have all got me the juice very quick. The FastTech prices on juice were not really that much better than the US suppliers and I just threw in a sample to test. Give the sites I posted a browse and you may find some information that will help you put it all together. They have some nice tutorials and information. There are a lot of options but once you get one in your hands it will start making more sense. You are going to need batteries with a charger which the kit has. Ego style batteries have many manufacturers making accessories which are readily available. You are not locked in to a proprietary tank or fill system. I did not like the Ego tank system that came with my kit as I get a lot of leaks and have switched to either aftermarket cartomizers or clearomizers which this kit comes with. You also need either a cartomizer or clearomizer for the liquid which will screw on to the battery. The Fasttech kit come with clearomizers. I've used them and have been pretty happy as they are easy to fill, give a nice clean taste and you can see how much juice you have left easily. I do also like the cartomizers as they give a stronger hit for me but they are a little more of a pain to fill and don't hold as much liquid. Cartomizers are filled by dripping the liquid into them on to something similar to a regular cigarette filter which is then heated and vaporized by the battery. Clearomizers you fill the tank, the wicks pull the liquid into where it is heated and vaporized. Both clearomizers and cartomizers are consumables and will have to be replaced after a given time of use. There are tips and tricks galore and plenty of Youtube videos out there explaining how to extend the life of them, but neither will last forever. They are fairly cheap to replace though when necessary. Here's some links to both types on awesomevapor that have some nice pictures and video explanations about filling. May help to clear it up for you a little more. http://www.awesomevapor.com/Visio...mizer.html http://www.awesomevapor.com/Boge-...izers.html There are many other options such as tanks and more powerful batteries but think I covered the basics for you hopefully. My main thing now is exploring all the different different liquids. That is actually more of a chore. I'm leaning more to fruit flavored stuff as I haven't been real happy with any of the tobacco flavors. |
