2013 Orange DVD Map Update v3.C0 [navigation.com]
Compatible with the following vehicles:
Honda Accord 2003-2005

2013 White DVD Map Update v4.B1 [navigation.com]
** Click on Orange DVD link FIRST to get sale price (cookies enabled), then use model selector or click link above to get White DVD sale price. **
New Feature Enhancement for the 2013 DVD Map Update:
There is a new setting of Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) for use on US highways, where there is an ETC toll collection system in use. Many toll roads across the US and Canada only utilize the ETC system. Users may now choose to 'minimize' or 'maximize' routing on these toll roads under the SETTINGS->ROUTING AND GUIDANCE options. The default setting is set to 'minimize' ETC, which means the system will try to avoid ETC only roads. Users who have registered with their local ETC highway agency, and have a valid transponder in their vehicle, can choose the 'maximize' setting to ensure they are routed on these ETC only highways.

Compatible with the following vehicles:
Honda Odyssey 2006-2010
Honda Pilot 2006-2011
Honda Accord 2006-2012
Honda Ridgeline 2007-2012
Honda Accord Crosstour 2010-2012

Use selector on the left to double check out which disc you need.

Acura map update (no discounts) -- for reference
**May be able to insert a Honda Disc into a Acura model, but be prepared for a 'Honda' interface (Honda splash screen on boot and different color scheme)

I was not referring to the accuracy of the maps but the looks of the navigation itself. The glass, resolution, buttons, speed, design, size etc etc. When I look at some cars from a few years back (Audi comes to mind) seeing the navigation or operating it with today's its crazy different.
I hear ya. Although seeing an adaptive touchscreen Gorilla Glass flat panel GPS would look weird in a '67 Chevy. So maybe it's better this way to have the GPS look as dated as the vehicle.

#1 - It is illegal piracy
#2 - It won't work withouth some major hacking work

I will admit to trying a couple of Navi disc downloads. My car new what they were (2010 Insight), but one was too old and my Nav didn't wouldn't do a force download. The next was slightly newer, and my Nav downloaded the update, but then tells me there is a problem with the disk before the maps will load. I need a working NAV DVD in order to change some basic features on my car (like setting the time). Also, this updates the entire software system, which includes music and ipod functionality. The updated maps is just a bonus for me.

By the way...not that I condone this...is it possible to copy these DVDs to update your car??? Just as question...no need to scream piracy. Simply wondering if in-car nav systems can read that.
It is possible, but depending on the age of your car, choice of DVD burner, some crazy software hacks/epic trial and error are necessary. I say that from experience FYI.

There were/are ISO torrents available on various torrent sites for the white discs, including last year's v4.A2 disc.

I'm wondering this too... like hypothetically speaking of course. If I had both an Odyssey and Ridgeline, then could I purchase 1 DVD and make a copy. Would the copied disc work? Of course, this is something I don't condone, nor would ever do, just wondering if it is a possibility. Like if I bought the disc, then I would of course want to make a copy for a backup...
A correctly hacked and burned disc copy will work with most GPS systems that have reported success with burned discs, but there are newer vehicles that have more stringent checks in place to mitigate copied discs.

In the mid-2000, the iso of these DVDs was widely available on the internet but not the newer ones.
False. at least for the white disc sets, v4.92 and v4.A2 were both available on various torrent sites (2011 and 2012 model years). I wouldn't dare link the torrents of these ISOs but I do know they were and possibly are still out there.

Major hacking is not what I would describe the process that I went through for the v4.A2 update. It took more trial and error than anything. I had about 3 coasters by the end of it all.

If you only drove one of the vehicles at a time or only used the navigiation on one at a time it may actually be permited under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. But ask a lawyer before doing it.
Short answer is no, you can't (legally)

you are correct under regular copyright law......you buy copyrighted material, you can make copies as backups, or as primary for hte original to be an archive.....

However - DMCA has a provision (or did, I truthfully haven't checked in awhile), that states if a manufacturer puts copy-protection on a digital work, then it is illegal to break the copy protection. So you are not able to make your legally allowed copy either.

this is a major ripoff IMO. You can BUY a Garmin with lifetime updates for 100 bucks on a slickdeal and have free updates for life. And the interface is better. I own a Acura TL with Navi BTW.

If your system uses the orange disk like my 2004 Acura TL, you're out of luck. Nobody has copied this one Frown

The white disk can be copied iirc

well you have a specilized gps. most garmin car gps devices have lifetime maps now.
Well the evil thing about that is it's the *market lifetime of the product*. When they decide they won't support it anymore you will still be map-update-less.

I updated mine with same deal last year

You can sell your 2012 DVD on ebay for $100 easy
So, if you purchased the 2012 DVD last year for your vehicle and have been using it, you can remove it, sell it, and work fine for the person who purchased it?
There isn't any kind of "one time use" on the DVD?

No there is not. That's pretty much impossible with most dvd type discs, at least at the disc level.

Nope, not at all.

It's just a DVD.
