Not a big fan of buying a WM7.8 phone, I feel like it isn't main stream enough. Anyone know how the apps are doing? I just looked at their store, I don't think they even have a Facebook app thats published by Facebook.

I would feel limited very quickly, any thoughts?

Yea i wouldent get a windows phone atm unless u just want a smart phone. Windows phone are user friendly tho for the non tech folks

the apps are great... new apps everyday... the real popular ones from apple and android are all there... love love love

I wouldn't buy a WP 7.8 phone if I could avoid it, all the app development is for WP8. They do have a FB app, but it is outdated, not at all good, and not being upgraded. Only the WP8 one is.

I say this having used a Samsung Focus S I got in the contest last year, but I switched back to Android with the Note 2 for $1 offer last week. WP itself is a decent enough OS to use, but 7.8 has absolutely no future, all development is for WP8.

Its actually a pretty good looking phone, although I believe they enlarged it a little too much from the N9.
The N9 was super sexy when it first came out, should have put android on it lol
The OS is ok, I know a lot of people who don't want anything to do with Windows from past PC experiences, althought windows phone is very smooth just not very popular.

My girlfriend loves hers. She hates, as I do, the constant updating of apps on android. We both had Iphone's as well and is the WORST OS of them all imo. Not to mention the iphone itself cannot withstand a drop on carpet without it breaking. I cannot believe that so many people fall for the apple trap. Absolute Tripe imo.

Yes, they have an app published by facebook. But just like the one on Android it's better using m.facebook. Apps are increasing daily with plenty of xbox games being released with achievements if your into that. Dark Knight was just released today. Gameloft has plenty of games on there. The major app missing still is Instagram and banking apps for me, although I have the 920(WP8). My daughter does have the 900 and loves it. Microsoft will be supporting 7.8 devices until at least July 2014.

If you're going to go for Windows Phone, go for a WP8 device instead of WP7 or WP7.8.
