Phantasy Star 4 is a MUST buy. I still consider it one of the best RPGs ever made. Good combat system, interesting characters, and a good story/script. Before the Genesis was discontinued, PS4 had one of the largest game carts (64meg?) ever made. That game alone is easily over 100 hours

So how would I play this, just on the PC? Wouldn't it be weird since it's not with a controller?

Actually, the way it's registered on steam, it would just count as 5 games. Each collection is listed separately but the games are grouped within the menu.

Anyway, the wiki says "requires steam client" but when I bought this last year, it also had the drm free version you could download from amazon. I mean, you still had to download from your amazon account, but the installer itself didn't require any registering, so I assume I could just as easily install it on multiple machines.

If you have a PC controller, you could use that. Depending on what games you're gonna play, keyboard works fine for the most part. The RPGs are simple at least since it's all just menus anyway.

I'd assume it has native Xbox controller support (and other controllers). I find my Xbox controller priceless for my PC.
