Yep! All purchases through PSN pass through the wallet, whether it's by credit card or pre-paid card. You add funds to your wallet then they are used for the purchase.

But I agree with you... They're both great games, aside from a few cookie-cutter characters. The intricacies of the strengths, shortcomings and vulnerabilities that the characters display in P4 is, in my opinion, unrivaled.

It felt much more gratifying helping a minor character through a personal trial than it did saving the world.

Better an imaginary bear than AI fighting robots Aside from that, getting sucked into a TV world, having a pop idol join the group , etc, etc. Overall, the rest of the game is very much a Japanese "slice of life". Small town, very simple--much more exploring to be done. P3 had more of a technologically advanced and urban feel to it. Really didn't like the setting. It felt like the characters were also entirely forgettable. With P4, I loved the characters, especially the protagonists extended family.

Also, the P3 ending really annoyed me.

Isn't really better in my mind. Amazon with prime or Newegg with shoprunner for $30 flat... I'd rather pay the extra $2.50 and have 2-day shipping.
