We still have snow on the ground here in Syracuse, Ny....doubt they are selling mulch at $1 per bag but will check it out regardless!
It's 6 degrees Fahrenheit here right now, and the high in the 7 day forecast never even gets to 40, so I was curious if they'd have that deal here either. Nope, the things in our local ad include carpet, indoor cleaning supplies, and furnace filters, lol.

These are not good quality, too many large pieces lumps. I prefer the Lowes generic brand that go on sale for $2.50 uniform color and consistency

Living in the south we get termites, so we've switched all of our mulch to rubber mulch. I love it, it's more expensive, but it doesn't blow away, deteriorate or lose its color. And of course it doesn't attracts bugs. I think that it's the best solution for decorative areas of the garden. However, for my vegetable garden I use regular mulch as it feeds the soil.

But your yard smells like a tire factory, doesn't it? Just walking by the rubber mulch in Lowes, on a hot day, is disgusting. And those are sealed bags in the shade.
