Asus Transformer Infinity TF700 + Keyboard Dock - $399.99 + Tax (Best Buy) YMMV

So can someone specify how this actually works...directions arent clear.

so I go to office depot and snap a pic to get tablet price adjusted,but what can I show bestbuy to have them give me the dock for free? when I add the dock online,theres no reduction. so how are they going to know to reduce that amount?

I didn't have to show the BB rep anything to get the dock for free - their system adjusted the price automatically and gave me the discount at the register.

As far as Office Depot, BB will not match online prices. I went to a physical store and snapped a quick picture (to have ready to show a BB rep on my phone) of the $399.99 in store price. Just a precaution, which I personally did not end up having to use.

lol to go through this kinda crap in BB....you needa be one helluva pain in the ass to them employees. while you're standing there thinking the exact same about their employees.

OP, you don't have to go to Office Depot to get a picture of the store display/signage.

The SKU for the TF700 shows a refurb online - the dock shows in stock.

I live pretty close, wondering if it's worth my time. Repped for the info regardless.

I think that's just a mistake in the product title on BestBuy.com.

I don't believe the product is actually refurbished.

The details indicate it has a 1 year warranty and Asus Refurbs. only come with a 90 day warranty.

So... I would trust the inventory checker from that page: LINK [bestbuy.com]

This has been mentioned before on other threads for this tablet but if you planned on doing a lot of net surfing on this it is recommended that you root the tablet. The one I had would freeze up when surfing for no apparent reason.

As stated by a few others, Best Buy created a temporary price match policy for 19 online retailers on Jan 1st 2013 and made that permanent on Mar 3rd 2013 with the Low Price Guarantee, including price matching officedepot.com.

I personally did this myself earlier this month, price matching amazon.com to save another $450 off the 55ES8000 55" Samsung 3d LED to get it instantly as I pay tax at Amazon anyway.

To the OP, you should post the picture you took of the tablet with price. I've had success at Best Buy just showing them a picture of a discounted price on my phone. But it was probably because the cashier I went to wasn't too bothered to investigate past what I told her.
