This product is unnecessary as all iPod touches, iPhones, and iPads are automatically compatible via Bluetooth. This product was useful in the IOS 4.0 days when Bluetooth streaming was implemented horribly on IOS. With ios5 and ios6, those days are long forgotten. Don't choose the BT-D5. It is not a well made, well thought out product. Stick with the BT-D1 as your free gift. Even if you don't use it, you can just mail it to me.

I forgot to add, BT-D5 can be helpful for people that have iPod Classic, iPod Nano (older versions) that do not have built in bluetooth.

Great if that's true. I can not find a packing list in Creative website.
