20x25x1 $71.66 - $6 rebate [filtrete.com] = $65.66. The rebate does say "A multi-pack is considered a single unit" so it may be YMMV but I think these are 6 individual filters instead of one multi-pack.

This isn't an air purifier, but rather a filter for a whole home air conditioning system.
I may be incorrectly interpreting your post but it seems you may have the two confused.

I was! The replacement filters look the same however! I am in the market for some form of HVAC system but haven't begun research, so I'm still interested in whatever you have to say on the matter.

Op...they dropped the price to 71.66. Even better deal. You probably ought to update your title to show better deal.

Also...at checkout...I found that I had Discover Reward Points of $22.08 that I could apply to the order. So my price came down to $49.58. Those using Discover cards, make sure you look for that discount for using Discover card if you have any reward points to apply. I almost missed it. : woot
