Talk about not understanding the market. $50-$55 was a good refurbished price last few times but this is completely @$$ backwards unless it's an indication that the supply of refurbished Roku 2 XS are drying up and that's not likely for a while.

I just got a Roku 2 XS last week, but I'll be honest, the fact that there is such a huge market of refurbished ones has me a little concerned.

The WD Live has no plex support, so if you have local media you want to stream, stay away from it like the plague and save the cash for a Roku.

I've bought a couple refurbed Roku 2 XS. Absolutely no problems. I think a lot of people buy them without realizing their limitations and then return them (no you don't get all the live TV channels for free!). Also, I suspect many of these are new units they are trying to dump now that the Roku 3 is out.

All that being said, I would still recommend you spend the extra 35 bucks and get the Roku 3. Seems like everything loads much faster and wifi is significantly better. Certainly nothing wrong with the XS, I have two of them and they work very well.
