Bought 2 to replace my Samsung 830 128gb in raid-0. Need my Samsung SSDs for laptop uses due to better battery life. In many other aspects, this new SSD is above average with excellent reviews & best price I found with a "desktop" kit.

Nice price/performance ratio. A definite value choice.
Benchmarked 2 SK Hynix SH910 SSD 128GB in Raid 0:AS SSD Benchmark: Scores: Read 455, Write 743 & Total Score 1424. Sequential speeds are average. Random Write 4K & 4K-64 speeds are better than my Samsung 830 128GB raid-0. Anvil Storage Utilities: Scores: Read 1703.48, Write 4103.68 & Total Score 5807.16. Again, sequential speeds are average, or slightly lower than average. Random Write 4K, 4K QD4 & 4K QD16 speeds are definitely above average, or even excellent for the price. Crystal Disk Mark: Default run in 3X pass = Random Write 4K scored 320.7 & 4K QD32 scored 437.5. |
