DEAL is BACK ON - RAM has been changed to corsair 8gb module.

For pure CPU processing power I thought this was a much better deal than the front page AMD A10 yesterday for $201. Granted you would need a video card additionally.

No USB 3 header so usb 3.0 ports in your case will be 2.0 speed. Still for the price not a bad board. I'm still waiting for the Sabortooth 990FX to get a sale. What he means is that if you connect the wires that come connected to your computer case, the ones that allows you to use the USB ports in the front, to the motherboard it will only be at 2.0 speeds. So if you wanted to use 3.0 speeds you would be forced to connect your devices to the back or if you use a hub with an extended wire.

It's basically a convenience thing.

Yep, deal killer for me. I had a deal alert set up for both an i7 and FX CPU deal and this looks like a solid price but the mobo kills it for me. I guess I could just go with a single higher end card but I'd rather go Crossfire.

I don't see any reason why you wouldn't get both. Which makes this a pretty good deal.

Alternatively there is an 8320 combo for $25 less. That chip is the same with a lower stock clock and similar overclocking potential.
