Staples had them brand new at a price lower than this in the past ($420-$450) but that was during a sale price combined with $75-$100 off coupon. If you have to have this machine today its not bad, but there are much better deals out there.

Could you do some light gaming on this machine (ie. MineCraft)?
Yes - very light
OS: Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition (OC'd to 4.0 Ghz)
CPU COOLER: Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5
GPU: Asus DirectCU II TOP Edition 7970
RAM: Corsair XMS3 8GB of DDR3 Dual Channel RAM @ 1333Mhz
CASE: NZXT Switch 810
PSU: OCZ ZX Series 850W Fully-Modular 80PLUS Gold
That Asus is stronger in the graphics department and has a quad core proc vs this Acer's dual core. The Acer looks better in all other regards (more RAM, larger hard drive, touch screen). So the Asus would be better for gaming, video editing, etc, and the Acer would be better for everyday use.
Any suggestion on what I should do? I bought one of these from Staples but with the i3 processor. After rebate, I should be at $429 plus tax puts me a little higher than this price, but new with 1 year warranty. This one if refurb with 90 day warranty but would bump me up to an i5 processor.
The machine will be for my kid for every day use, maybe minecraft and other light games.
